Amy Kopp, M.S., L.P.C

With hectic lives, how often do we feel allowed to stop and reflect?  To stop and freely talk about what we are going through. I believe that therapy is a confidential space where you can process your experiences, fears, limiting beliefs, and goals without judgment.  It is your place to stop and peacefully hear yourself.

I enjoy working with those who want to improve personal insights, strengthen communication skills, grow personally, or reduce negative symptoms.  I will support you as we identify ways start soothing old wounds and help you to better understand yourself.  I am honored to witness clients unblocking the negative patterns that have emotionally paralyzed them.  My integrative therapeutic approach to counseling allows for a supportive nonridged environment.  In therapy, you cannot selectively begin to one area of your life, working on reducing negative patterns has a positive ripple effect on all parts.

Clinical Information

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am present with my clients focusing on their personal goals.  I ask them to think about how they would like to feel or how they want their life to look at the end of our work together, and that becomes our target. I reflect patterns of behaviors, personal narratives, coping skills, provide education on techniques to help get them unstuck, and analyzing old thinking cycles.  I am grateful  to have supported hundreds of children, adults, and families throughout my clinical experiences.
